Our Custom Made service is there to design and make products to meet your exact needs. We can do the complete process from concept to final product in-house. You will find a complete presentation of all the steps in this process below.
This is the way that we follow from idea to product.
1. Product Concept
We start with the basic idea and think about what product is needed for, who would and could use it. We make basic sketches and notes of the initial concept.
2. Research
Our team checks if there is demand for a product. Does the product solve a problem? Is there need for a solution for that problem? Are similar products already made? If so, how can a new product improve existing ones?
3. Product Design Development
At this stage we begin to develop the product design. We now know the function, strength and lifetime, reliability, manufacturing costs, exact material, ...
4. CAD
Computer-aided design is a must. Our 3D rendering software produces a computer model of the final design. This may reveal potential issues that weren't evident in previous steps in the designing process.
5. CAM
Computer-aided manufacturing. A first physical prototype of the product is made.
6. Prototype Testing
We test for any problems or flaws with the design. This is needed to be sure that we end up with the best possible end product. We go back to the previous steps if necessary.
7. Manufacturing
When the protype has passed all tests successfully we start manufacturing the product.
8. Assembly
Important choices are made during assembly. This may involve further materials, such as bolts. Keeping the quality at the same level of the product is very important in this part of the process.
9. Feedback and Testing
Now that the product has been manufactured and assembled, we continue with the testing. Our team and a select group of people with knowledge are asked for critical feedback.
10. Demonstration and Delivery
We are now able to present you the product that you imagined.
